The emergence of the Cultural Society of National Minorities in the Baltic States has stemmed from long-lasting activities conducted by representatives of various groups representing national minorities of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. These endeavours are aimed at forming a balanced society, developing the third sector, propagating and sustaining democratic values of law-based society.

The strategic objectives of our organisation are as follows:
- upholding the sense of togetherness and forming citizen identity;
- propagating cultural diversity;
- reducing the number of non-citizens;
- instilling tolerance with respect to various ethnic groups.
